You have precisely got the hint of the 'Chak de' irony that I was trying to convey! Shah Rukh says he wants to make money out of cricket and channelise to less popular sports like hockey. Well, we have to believe him!

Once again Sir, you've done a great work of parodying. The first paragraph of Chak De..... is quite ironical isnit it, considering the fact that Chak De, India was a film on Hockey. Now we find its anthem song being played during all cricket matches, while Hockey has gone completely off our collective radars!

That was my favourite para as well! I realize the toughest part in making a parody is to fit the right words into the tune, so that it can sound almost like the original while singing. From that angle, this para was fulfilling to me after a brief 'struggle' for words!

BTW strangely though I tried twice to insert Shahrukh's photo at the top, overnight it was getting replaced by Madhubala's image from my earlier blog stored in my album. I don't know why this happens. I had to edit and cut off her image again. Maybe I have to remove her from the album itself---and the mind too!

Enjoyed singing your parody using the song "Baazigar Main Baazigar". You have correctly depicted current situation of Shah Rukh with business that he is currently involved with cricket. I was laughing for a long time. It was extremely amusing. I especially liked the last Antara where you have put Shah Rukh against Aamir. This shows your Great Creativity! Keep it up and do post such parodies. I am sure every Sulekhite will love to read it. I think you are the best parody creator in Sulekha. I take your suggestion for translation. But in this particular parody, I think, it was quite commonly spoken Hindi that I had used and I believe you would have generally inferred the context. Apart from that I don't think I have written anything profound to merit translation! It was just meant to be some sort of silly fun and I was glad to note that you enjoyed it , in spite of your 'thoda thoda' Hindi! If you are familiar with the original song, you would have found it more fun! Thank you so much for your quick response and appreciative comment!
