‘Dil-ke tukde tukde karke’—Another attempt at Yesudas by me!
Kuch log nahin sudhrenge! Jaise ki hum! After my earlier attempt at an Yesudas song, I am trying yet another! This is only because dear Sablu-ji suggested this song to me (Probably he hoped I would not find this one in karoke!). But being one of my favourite Yesudas numbers, I searched and found it easily. The music is my Usha Khanna, of whom I am not a die-hard fan, but I liked the way she faithfully adopted the style of O.P.Nayyar. But this song particularly from a forgotten film called ‘Dada’ is very pleasant to hear—probably till you hear me singing! If you are now cutting off this song from your list of Yesudas favourites, then please ---
Blame it on Sablu-ji!

I have heard this song not knowing this song is composed by Usha Khanna .This is the problem. She is a gifted composer but always composing for only C grade movies unfortunately.But for Vividh Bharthi( And Fauji Bahiyon) we could not have heard these songs. Although you say she is in the OP Nayyar mould I think she belonged to the Madan Mohan mould. This composer a solo female composer in the period dominated by musical Ustads was sidelined very unfortunate .There are so many classic songs of Rafi composed by Usha Khanna . She had a distinct style like Madan Mohan.
Your voice suits this song but seems to be having minor issues which happens in this Karaoke System . You are definitely improving and you did sing very well

Bahut mast gayaa aapne. Lekin thora sound volume kahin kahin Jaada ya kam tha. Anyway, that does not matter but you have sung it very nicely and I appreciate your high vocal chord. This quality you have bestowed from Rafi Sahab. Special shukriya to you for singing this awesome song of Yesudas which I like very much.
Lekin janab ye sarasar mujpe ilzaam jo aap laga rahen hain ke mein socha aapko iska Karoake nahin milegaa is liye mein aapse ye gaana sunna chahata hoon. Ye to aapne bahut galat baat mere bare mein socha liya. I analysed your voice so thatit will suit in you that is why meine ye geet ka farmayeesh kiya. Anyway I don’t mind. I know it’s your lovely joke. Maje ki baat bataaon when I was 5years old I sang this song in my school and won the best award in my annual function and one girl fell in love with me. Tab Yesudas ji aur Mukeshji ka sur taal bachpan mein mere dil mein basa tha.
But I became a great fan of Kishoreda and Rafi Sahab when I was in my college days.
Thanks once again Nathanji for singing this song so promptly.
Don’t worry no body will blame me. When you have sung it so sweetly then no problem.

Nicely sung by you. But I am not familiar with this song as I heard this song for first time from you.
Note that when Usha Khanna gave her debut music for Dil-Dekhe-Dekhoin 1959, she took lots of hints from O.P.Nayyar. O.P.Nayyar used to sit with her in suggesting lots of things before she composed music for Dil-Deke-Dekho. Usha Khanna was very much influenced by O.P.Nayyar.
After this Usha Khanna song finished you hve a short piece of your previously recorded part of "Aaj Se Pehle". Was this intentional or an overlook, please let me know.
